I am Carlos Valiente, the one author behind Review or Pass. I write every review myself. I do not have a team, and I do not claim credentials or certifications I do not have.
I started this site because choosing software is hard to do well from vendor pages alone. Pricing is often buried, free plans have limits that only appear after you sign up, and drawbacks are rarely stated plainly. I wanted a place where the answer comes first, the drawbacks are named, and the work behind a recommendation is shown.
What I cover
For now, I cover two areas:
- Email & Automation — email tools and automation for small teams and solo operators.
- AI & SEO Content Tools — tools for writing, search, and content work.
No reviews are published yet. I am starting with these two areas so I can go deep on a small number of tools rather than shallow on many.
How reviews are chosen
I choose tools that readers are actually comparing, tools with a free or trial plan I can test where one is offered, and tools where the pricing and limits can be checked on the vendor site. I do not accept paid placements, and I do not rank a product because a vendor asked me to. How I test, price, and update each review is explained in the Review Methodology.
